What's changed on Ella 101
We ship often during the beta. Here's what's changed, newest first. Have an idea or a bug to report? Write to support@ella101.com — it goes straight to the founder.
Version 1.1.2 — current, July 7, 2026
- A help center that answers real questions. The new help page covers the ten things people actually ask — how the beta works, what Ella can and can't do, and how to reach a human.
- A complete guide. A plain-words walkthrough of what Ella is like to live with: how lessons work, what you see as an account holder, and how to get started.
- An FAQ page. The ten most common questions, answered the same way we'd answer them over email.
- A refund policy in writing. No fine-print games — the refunds page says exactly what happens if you cancel, in sentences a person can read.
- A status page. If something's down, status is where we say so honestly — and it's now linked in the footer of every page.
- This page. The "What's new" changelog you're reading shipped in this release.
- The human heart joined the toolbox. The toolbox demo now has a third object to take apart and hear Ella explain.
- Small fixes. A proper browser icon, social-preview cards on every page, and copy touch-ups throughout.
Version 1.1.0 — July 6, 2026
- A cinematic homepage. The front page now opens with a real video of Ella teaching, not a wall of text — so you can see the product before you read a word about it.
- "Hear Ella teach." Tap a topic on the homepage and hear a real lesson clip in Ella's actual voice, with the words following along as she speaks. No sign-up needed to listen.
- Every button goes somewhere real. The main calls to action now take you to the live demo or to asking for a beta invite, instead of scrolling the page.
- Smoother on phones. Bigger tap targets, a cleaner menu that no longer shows the page through it, and a faster first paint so the page feels ready sooner.
- Easier to read for everyone. Stronger text contrast, a keyboard skip-link, and motion that settles down if your device asks for reduced animation.
Version 1.0.0 — July 4, 2026
- Ella 101 went public. The first version of this site launched: what Ella is, how the invite-only beta works, the planned pricing, and the terms and privacy pages.
Curious what's coming, or want to shape it? The help center and FAQ cover how things work today — and the fastest way to influence what's next is to email support@ella101.com.
